Sharon Kay Dixon, 72, of Orange County, California., formerly of Port Huron, died July 22, 2016.  She was born September 2, 1943.  After graduation from Port Huron High School in 1961, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona then Los Angeles, California and then New York City,  New York.  While in New York she attended college.  She also attended college in San Francisco, California.  Sharon worked in the medical and insurance fields for about ten years and then started in the transportation field as a transit and charter bus driver.  She stayed in that profession for over 30 years. Sharon never married and had no children.  She loved to read, tried to be a fitness buff and loved traveling.  Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Port Huron, Michigan September 2, 2016.
