William Mawhinney - 1941-2012

Our class member William Mawwhinney, of Rochester MI passed away June 2nd after battling cancer. A time for gathering, remembering and reminiscing about Will starts at 4 p.m., Friday, June 8th at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester (www.pixleyfh.com). A service will be held afterwards at 7p.m. at Pixley's.

He was born in Pontiac, October 12, 1941 and graduated from Port Huron High School. He worked for the City of Rochester and worked long term and retired from Oakland County. He is survived by sons Joseph and wife Nancy, Robert and wife Shawn, daughter Angela Enderson, and husband Ritt. Grandchildren Michael, Kim, Nick, Colin, Sarah, Robbie, Alec, Emma, and Heather, great granddaughter Madison, brothers Richard and Robert and sisters Sora and Judy as well as a host of nieces and nephews and Ginger Hawes, ex-wife, mother of his children, and friend.

He is preceded in death by parents Robert and Frances, sister Mary and special pets Harley and Oscar. His ashes will be buried with his parents at Ottawa Park Cemetery.
