George R. Barham -- July 25, 1943 -- December 18, 2012

George R. Barham, 69, of Burtchville died December 18, 2012 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab after a long illness. He was born July 25, 1943 in Port Huron and was a life long resident. He married Shirley A. Edmonds. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2001. George was a construction worker for most of his life.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He is survived by his daughter, Robin L. (Russel) Smith of Croswell; son, Robert E. (Sheila) Barham of Palms, MI; grandchildren, Robert, Sarah, Zachary, Kristin and Katie; sisters, Sandra K. O'Neil of Port Huron and Ercelyn (Tom) Desbourough of Naples, FL. George was preceded in death by his parents, Ercell and Lillian (Sills) Barham and his sister, Donna Smith.

Memorial services were held on December 22, 2012 in North Lakeport Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Drew Mills officiated.
