William Roy Novar, 70, of Kimball Township, died Monday, September 9, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born April 21, 1943 in Port Huron to the late William L. and Josephine Novar. Mr. Novar owned and operated both General Roofing and Siding and Port Huron Fence before his retirement in 2006. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Marysville Post #449. In his younger years, Bill was an avid boater. Military Honors were conducted under the auspices of the U>S> Army and the St. Clair County of Allied Veterans Council.  

He is survived by his daughter, Karen (David) Seghi; grandchildren, Joseph and Christina Seghi; sister, Patricia (Derald) Van Camp; three nephews, Victor (Mary) Van Camp, Jeffery (Angie) Van Camp, and Michael (Carrie) Van Camp; and several cousins and great nephews.
