Ronald William Squires, 82, of Port Huron, died Thursday, August 7, 2025.
He was born August 23, 1942 in Port Huron to the late William and Reba Squires. He married Judith R. Sharette on June 27, 1964 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2017.
Ronald graduated from Port Huron High School in 1961. He was employed with Chrysler Corporation Sterling Stamping Plant for 42 years retiring in 2007. Ron was a very inquisitive person who enjoyed science and collecting rocks and fossils. Although he worked long hours, he did like reading, fishing and hiking in Beards Hill with his family. Ron was an avid Detroit sports fan, especially the Lions and was a long-time player of the numbers.
He is survived by three sons, Ross Squires (Briana Alexander-Burpo), Scott Squires (Tammy Paeth) and Shane Squires (Melissa Deittrick); 11 grandchildren, Armando Squires, Julian and Adrian Squires, Ellie (Dan) Stickler, Anthony (Amy) Squires, Justin, Ashley, Scott and Ryan Squires, Aneisha Todd and Arianna Squires; many great grandchildren, sister, Sandra (Leo) Albert; brother, Mark (Rita) Phillips; sister-in-law, Kathy Dickinson; brother-in-law, Randy VanNorman; and several nieces and nephews.
