April 26th, 1942 to September 23rd, 2016 Ralph Douglas McCallum, 74, of Lexington, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was born April 26, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Donald Earl McCallum and Leah Elizabeth (Black) McCallum. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and went on to pastor at churches in Iron City, Tennessee; Jackson, Romeo and Croswell, Michigan, before retiring as a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service in 2002. He currently was attending Colonial Woods Missionary Church. During his retirement years, he enjoyed duck carving, crossword puzzles and reading. He is survived by his wife, Lavonne; a son, Donald (Wendy) McCallum; a daughter, Annette (Keith) Johnson; two grandchildren, Calliope and Penelope Johnson; a brother, Theron Crorey; a sister, Linda Holmes; and several nieces and nephews
